Zimbabwe's Tech Scene Gears Up for Rescheduled 2026 Technology Summit   

The Technology Summit 2026 has been rescheduled to Friday, 27 February 2026, to accommodate an iconic summit featuring President Mnangagwa and the President of Malawi on the same date, the event host and founder of CB Muchero Innovation Hub Rutendo Mucheo has said in a statement.

The venue of the Technology Summit remains the same, the MH Arena and the event, originally set for February 13th, promises to bring together industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts to explore the latest trends in AI, emerging technologies, and digital transformation.

As Zimbabwe continues to position itself as a hub for tech innovation in Southern Africa, the summit's theme is expected to focus on harnessing AI and emerging technologies to drive economic growth, improve governance, and enhance financial inclusion. With the country's FinTech sector experiencing rapid growth, the event is likely to feature discussions on how AI-powered solutions can address local challenges and unlock new opportunities.
