“Build With AI” Workshop Targets Production Gaps With Gemini, Cloud & Live Deployment

HARARE, Zimbabwe – June 27, 2026 – Google Developer Group GDG Harare will host a hands-on engineering session this Friday aimed at moving local developers past prototypes and into production-grade AI systems.

The *Build With AI Workshop: Beyond the Prototype - End-to-End AI Engineering for Modern Agents* runs *June 27, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM CAT, GMT+2* with *140 developers already RSVP’d*.

*The Problem: AI That Breaks in Production*
Most AI agents fail after the demo because they lose context, cannot reason across data types, and lack reliability, GDG Harare said. The workshop will address what it calls “the three pillars of agency”: Perception, Structure, and Identity.

Attendees will learn proven architectures for integrating AI into existing products, with focus on scalability, monitoring, and reliability.

*2. Cloud Deployment on Google Cloud*
The session will cover strategies for taking models from notebook to cloud, including best practices for deployment and operations.

*3. Multimodal Graph RAG with ADK & Memory Bank – Live Demo*
The technical centerpiece tackles a common failure point: stateless chat. Using Google’s Agent Development Kit ADK, Gemini for perception, Spanner Graph for structure, and a Memory Bank for identity, engineers will build an agent that can handle multi-hop queries like “Fix that diagram I showed you last week.”

The demo will show how to reason across unstructured visual data and structured graph nodes, and how to implement a Memory Bank that de-duplicates user insights in real time to create a stateful, intelligent partnership.
