GWERU, Zimbabwe — In a major move to bridge digital innovation with corporate networking, Rhodium Communications’ flagship digital platform, FinTech Review Africa, has announced the inaugural FinTech-Business Par Challenge, set to tee off this Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the Gweru Golf Course.
The high-profile corporate sporting event, driven by Lurydis Rukudzo Bingandadi, Director of Strategy & Operations at Rhodium Communications, is designed as a strategic networking arena. It aims to unite executives, tech founders, and golf enthusiasts from across Zimbabwe’s rapidly expanding digital ecosystem. According to official event details showcased in FinTech-Business Par Challenge Ad Final 4 July communication, the tournament is structured under a competitive 4BBB Stableford format, with the first tee scheduled for 7:00 a.m. sharp.
The corporate networking challenge is targeted at key sub-sectors within the continent's digital economy, drawing top-tier service providers from FinTech, BankTech, Telecoms, InsurTech, PropTech, RetailTech, HealthTech, and Digital Payments Platforms.
"We exist to serve as a high-value strategic bridge between technological innovation and financial growth," said Bingandadi. "This event takes our commitment to durable B2B connections out of the boardroom and onto the green, giving leaders a premium platform to align capital, technology, and talent."
As highlighted in the event's official promotional file, FinTech-Business Par Challenge Ad Final 4 July.jpg, the day's theme is pinned as "Tee Off into the Digital-Driven Future: The Ultimate Power Play, On the Green." The tournament offers substantial business incentives, including extensive sponsorship and branding opportunities for corporate partners, alongside a highly anticipated Hole-In-One Prize.
Registration for the tournament is currently open at 20 USD per player. Ecosystem players and corporate teams looking to lock in their slots before Saturday's tee time are advised to coordinate directly with the technical and organizational team via Francis (+263 719 343 370 or +263 772 370 343).
